HOW TO WRITE FICTION - STARTING YOUR FICTION NOVEL

A lot of new and even experienced writers find it hard to start their novel.  This is a crucial part when writing a novel because you need to keep the reader interested. You may opt to open up your story by using a dialogue. Some writers hardly ever write novels that begin with dialogue since they cant think of anything worthy enough to say.

At times, dialogue is the best means in getting your story to a good start. If the characters are in the midst of a battle or if there is something you would like to expose right in the open, conversation could attract your readers into the first scene of your story.

As in other ways on how to write fiction, you have to be cautious at all times. If you want to start with a conversation, it should be clever, notable and fascinating. It is highly suggested that in opening your story with a dialogue, you can have one line of words before putting in some details. Even if the individuals in the story are in the midst of a discussion, dont bewilder the readers by not giving the details. Just try to be creative. It is all up to you how you want to begin your story.
