If you say yes to all those questions, then I would say you probably need help. And heres an easy to follow tip that could help you a lot when dealing with children behavioral problems. The time-out method. If you have not heard about this yet, dont worry Im here to explain this the simplest way possible. Heres how it works. If your child does something that you consider misbehavior you will put him or her in a time-out area. So whats a time-out area? This is an area in your house that doesnt appeal to your childs interest. But its important that you also chose an area that would not frighten your child. So, for example, you can decide to make one corner of your house as a time-out area, or a chair, or a table. The first time your child misbehaves, youll give him/her a warning about the possibility of being placed to the time-out area. The second time he or she misbehaves, take your child to the time-out area. Dont make your child stay for so long, for a 2 year old child its enough to make him or her stay for 2 minutes. The key is one minute for every years age. Then if your child shows a good behavior reward him or her. Thats how time-out method works. This works well in dealing with child with problems.
